Last week I tried several new tastes and green diet recipes out. With the knowledge I have now I think I can do my green diet without getting very stressed about it. Preparation is the key! You have to buy right stuff on time (easy). Prepare your lunch and dinner maybe already a day before (not so easy). Say no to your lunches and coffees with friends (super heavy)… From yesterday on I committed to my green diet fully. There is no coffee, bread, cheese and sweets for me for the next 11 days. Yikes!

As always my mind is telling me it’s impossible to do it. My body is loving it. And my true self is watching from a neutral distance those two fighting each other.

Today I share another easy and fast recipe to start your day with. It’s another green smoothie recipe. It will be enough for 2 – 3 servings so you can put it in the fridge and you saved time for your tomorrow’s breakfast.

1/2 cup of water
1 small romaine lettuce
3 handful of spinach
3 celery stalks
1 green apple
1 green pear
2 kiwi’s
1 lime (juiced or just peeled)

Wash, peel and chop all ingredients. Add them to a blender and blend until smooth. Normally I would also add banana to my green smoothie but now I just added a little bit of raw honey to sweeten things up a bit. And cause I like to chew on things I sprinkled it with hemp and pumpkin seeds in the end. Voila!

My last tip: eat it with a teaspoon. Not with a tablespoon. It will take more time. And it will make you enjoy your breakfast slowly and mindfully. Make it to a meditation. Try to sense the taste of every ingredient in it. Mmmmmmmh…
